Ignition coil
What is this ignition coil?
say
You must have seen that a spark plug is used for petrol/gasoline engines.
An electric spark/spark created by this plug burns the petrol and the engine starts... This spark plug produces the high voltage required to create a spark through this ignition coil....
The process that takes place here is similar to a power transformer / CDI unit / control unit of the motorcycle at the time when the ignition coil is to be given a 12v power supply and disconnected ... then like in the power transformer, the 12v power here is almost as high as 22000v Doing so... then the spark in the spark plug is released by that electricity...
In motorcycles, this ignition coil is connected to the chassis by two pins....
Some ignition coils have two pins and some have one pin. From one comes to that pin.... The pin attached to the chassis gets the power supply
